VERA analyses both the event and the journalism covering it simultaneously. What is actually happening — constraint networks, scenario probabilities, forward simulations. How the article frames it — epistemic regime, agency mapping, hegemonic assumptions embedded as common sense. What the framing conceals — the hidden drivers, incentive distortions, and market mechanisms the narrative suppresses.

Every VERA analysis is reviewed by an adversarial peer review call before publication. Every probability estimate is timestamped, published, and scored against outcomes. We do not publish analysis we cannot stand behind, and we do not hide our errors. The methodology is documented. The track record is public.
Where this goes

The founder
VERA is built by a single founder: a technology leader with twenty-five years designing and operating mission-critical trading infrastructure at global investment banks — systems where a silent failure costs real money, where the regulator audits the audit trail, and where “probably fine” is not an acceptable engineering state. That standard — fail loud, verify at source, keep the record append-only — is VERA’s engineering constitution, imported from a domain where it is enforced by law.
The geopolitics is not a pivot. Before the markets career came a first-class degree in politics; VERA is the two disciplines in one system — political analysis, engineered like market infrastructure.
The founder is anonymous for now. The company’s registered details are public, and the work is signed the only way that matters here: with a timestamped, scored track record.

VERA is a software platform. Every analysis is generated by the pipeline — there are no human analysts, no engagements, no commissioned reports.
